AMPERS& Project

The ambition of AMPERS& (pronounced 'ampersand') is to remind you that to live only for oneself falls shy of a purposeful life. This symbol means 'and' signifying us as the body of Christ, working together for the Kingdom & living our lives in fellowship with Him. All proceeds go to trusted ministries that help the less fortunate and building churches for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

CURRENT DISPERSING:

Building Churches - Bethel Earrings for Jesus Image Church

I hungered for the presence of God in a magnitude that would beautifully dismantle me. In December 2018, in the midst of my thirst for righteousness, the Lord led me to this watering hole. It has been my home church since then. My stay here has been a pivotal part of my walk with the Lord and it would mean much to me for you to hold my hand in this endeavor. We are currently building our new church, as we have never had building to call our own. See the video here. Give directly to the building fund here.

Widows, Orphans, The Needy - Mugs & Shirts

All proceeds go to Iris Global and other ministries that specifically help this group of people.

"Iris Global exists to participate in bringing the Kingdom of God to earth in all its aspects, but most especially through our particular calling to serve the very poor: the destitute, the lost, the broken and the forgotten (irisglobal.org/about/mission) Give directly to the ministry here.

The Story

AMPERS& was birthed from an encounter with God where I experienced the ache of His heart for the world He died for. It seemed that this encounter was kindling as a little girl, sparked in 2013 and then set my heart ablaze in 2018. Simply put, AMPERS& was a stirring inside me to use my business to tend to the destitute. I wanted it to be intentional, truly hearing the voice of the Lord and responding to what and who I hear His heart beating for.

It was on my bed, August 2018, that I felt the deep compassion of the Lord wooing me to serve homeless women by giving them menstrual and hygienic products as my first mission. I gave my yes, believing that a missions trip can be anywhere I'm standing. I made the necessary plans and used all I had made from selling my first batch of AMPERS& earrings to buy the items needed.

At the time, my college campus had a pantry that provided free food, hygienic supplies and miscelleanous goods. I took whatever they had and added it to my stash. I didn't have a car at the time so I strapped on my white hightop converse—shaking in my skin with an acute awareness of the spiritual realm—and walked to the bus stop to take an hour ride to Lake Eola. When I arrived, I immediately felt the activitiy of the Holy Spirit around, on me and within.

The girl who was afraid to pray in front of others was kneeling and weeping at the feet of the homeless while calling  in the bustling park. I will never forget what God did to me; the courage He cemented in my bones and the fellowship of His Spirit during this precious time in my life.

And so, the AMPERS& project continues on...
